Features No Hitter Night
Anibal Sanchez threw a no-hitter tonight against the Diamondbacks. This was the first no-hitter since Randy Johnson threw one in May, 2004.

So naturally the Unit isn't happy about it and is throwing a no-hitter himself. The Royals are hitless through 6 innings.



If you have a good memory you may remember that on June 29, 1990 Dave Stewart no-hit the Jays at SkyDome.  Later that night on the West Coast Fernando Valenzuela threw a no-no against the St Louis Cardinals.

In Game 1 of the double-dip at Shea, Carlos Delgado homered and Shawn Green addded a  homer and a double as the Mets swept the Braves.  They partied like it was 1999...
