Louisville 2 Buffalo 3
The Bisons trailed 2-0 headed to the bottom of the eighth. A walk to Matt Hague and a single from Chris Colabello put two men on for Brad Glenn. With two outs, Glenn hit a ball in the gap and legged it into a triple. As he arrived at third the ball bounced past the third baseman and Glenn took off for home. Glenn just about made it, creeping home on his stomach for the 3-2 lead. Glenn's hit was the only extra base hit and he was the only hitter with two hits. Dalton Pompey had to face a lefty starter and went 0-3 with a walk and no K's. Andy Burns had another single to keep the average over .300.
Steve Delabar got the win. He came on with the bases loaded and one out. He allowed a sac fly before getting the third out. Randy Wolf started and went six innings. He allowed an unearned run but he did give up seven hits and three walks in six innings, thats a 1.67 WHIP.
New Hampshire 12 Binghamton 11 - 11 innings
New Hampshire scored three in the eighth and one in the ninth to send the game to extra innings. The Fisher Cats scored five runs in the eleventh, Jack Murphy hit a three run home run. Cory Burns allowed a grand slam in the bottom of the eleventh but New Hampshire hung on for the win.
Jon Berti was 4-7 with two doubles. Jorge Flores and KC Hobson had three hits. Matt Nemman hit a two run home run. Michael Lee started and was hit around. Blake McFarland pitched two hitless innings, in 9.2 innings he has 12 K's and just 4 hits allowed.
Dunedin 8 Clearwater 0
Jayson Aquino, who avoided being DFA'd this week, responded with his best start of the season, six innings, five hits, just two K's. Brady Dragmire and Chad Girodo finished up.
The Jays scored five runs in the third, five singles and a hit batter made up the attack. Derrick Loveless hit a three run home run in the seventh. His .294 BA leads the team. Roemen Fields was 3-5 with two runs scored ad he is hitting .253. Fields was the only multi-hit Jays player.
Bowling Green 6 Lansing 5
The Lugnuts lead 5-1 headed to the seventh off a very good start by Conner Greene. This season Greene had never pitched more than five innings so to see him there in the seventh was a surprise although he had just yielded one hit. Greene gave up a lead off home run but was not yanked. Then came a walk, a double, an out and a single. Greene was taken out with a 5-3 lead but Andrew Case gave up a three run home run to the first batter he faced and Lansing were down 6-5. Greene was charged with five runs, four earned in his 6.1 innings.
For the offense Rowdy Tellez hit a two run home run and added an RBI single. Richard Urena and Jonathan Davis also had two hits each.
