When did Butterfield become the Pope?

Great drama captured in this shot.

1,000+ eloquent words, Aaron. My favourite of your many wonderful shots.

I agree with Coach. This is a gem.

Just wanted to throw out another Jays related image I saw today. I have absolutely no idea what is happening here or what the hell Carlos Delgado is doing. Has anyone seen this before?

Looks like Hinske knew he was going to have a good 2005 from the looks of this. hahaha

Thanks guys. It was total random chance that I got this -- I thought "I wonder what's happening in the dugout?" and spun the camera around and saw this.

And that image of Carlos Delgado is still burned into my brain from the last time I saw it.

We should start our own caption contest for that picture until someone translates it. Who knows what the crowd of people could be saying to bashful Ted Lilly.

Random questions that need answering:

1. Who is Gibro, and why is he wearing #5?
2. Why has Ted Lilly's nose fallen off, and been replaced with a wide, red scab?
3. Why is there a number sign (#) on Ted's groin?
4. Has Ted been drinking a slushie? Why is his mouth blue? I assume it's frozen?
5. Has Vernon hit the jackpot BECAUSE he has a dog humping his leg, or is the dog humping his leg preventing him from hitting the jackpot?
6. Is Carlos a king because he's wearing nothing but ass suspenders, or are they just a random fashion statement?
7. Why is there a tag with his stats from last year attached to the ass suspenders? Am I missing the relevance of the ass suspenders themselves, or are they simply symbolic?
8. Is that what I think it is on the table beside Roy? And I thought he was a happily married, straight man.

Seems like I'm the only resident Korean in this board, so I'll see what I can to translate this....

Frame 1: Ted Lilly
Caption says, "With sudden attention, rather embarrassed..."
Lilly: Gosh, everyone's looking at me!
Gibbon: No one else to see...

Frame 2: Alexis Rios
Caption says, "Cannon Arm"
Catcher: Hey, don't fire arm with the ball!
Rios: "Aakk"

Frame 3: Miguel Batista
Caption says, "Where should I go"
Guy on starter door: you'd be better there
Guy on closer door: you'd look better there

Frame 4: Vernon Wells
Cation says, "Thought everything was going well..."
Wells: huh?
Dog: Where are you going with out me?

Frame 5: Eric Hinske
Caption says, 3rd baseman fielding average, 1st!!!
Hinske: Manager, I'm first in defence!!
Gibbons: Haha... How come I can't help preferring those days when you weren't a good defender...

Frame 6: Carlos Delgado (This is parody on Emperor has no clothes bit)
Caption says, Emperor with no clothes
Delgado: What do you think?
Yes-man: Good! To eyes of those who doesn't know you, it'll look great!

Frame 7: Roy Halladay
Caption says, on holiday...
Halladay: Those who worked well... leave...

I can't stop laughing at that cartoon and the translation. That Hinske comment is pure gold!

Sweet. Thanks for the translation Hamboy. Now if only we could get that damn dog off of Vernon.

That comic reminds me of that Clerks cartoon episode:

"Who's driving? Bear's driving! How can this be. . .Oh no a car full of midgets!"

Excellent picture NFH. My favourite so far. It looks like Rios was actually caught stealing instead of just being caught stealing.

What I like most about the picture is not the hand on the shoulder, but the gleaming white badge. It really gives Butter the look of a person in authority.
VBF - Thursday, April 14 2005 @ 07:37 PM EDT (#111567) #
The only thing that picture is missing is a beam of enlightening light on Rios' head. Nice shot, NFH.

Anyone have a favourite Jay they want to see in tomorrow's picture?

Seeming as the last few pictures have dealt with players off offensive bursts, maybe we can give V-Dub some of that luck.
