It's an epic Battle in Seattle, as Lex Luthor himself, Gustavo Chacin, takes on the legendary Uruk King, Gil (Ga) Meche. Oh yeah, there's also a ballgame, Blue Jays at Mariners.

I had no idea SS is a cancer survivor.
A story like that puts things in perspective.

Gil "Ga" Meche is just genius. Did you come up with that on your own or lift it from somewhere?

The story of Gilgamesh is the mythology on which huge chunks of the Pentateuch are based, too, but most Western World people don't know that (or accept it).

No, I can't take credit for it -- Rob Neyer first made the Gilgamesh reference years ago, and it stuck with me. And Aaron Gleeman drew the Luthor-Chacin comparison. Originality is the art of remembering what you heard and forgetting where you heard it; I'm only good at the first part.
