Bauxites have spoken, and they are not wildly impressed with the position prospects, but put them in this order:

1. Lind
2. Cannon
3. Roberts
4. Quiroz
5. Hattig-tie
5. Thigpen-tie
7. Pettway-tie
7. Patterson-tie
9. Griffin
10. Negron

I am quite sure that Bauxites collectively have done a better job of appraising prospects than I did. Well done, everyone. It's cool that Pettway and Patterson ended up tied.

Boy this is such a weak group, I'd almost be willing to toss new Dominican bonus baby Leance Soto into the mix , even before his first pro at bat ,( although he did apparently take Wade Townhead deep when the Jays brought the Boras client in for a workout a few weeks ago).

Actually I see Soto just made his pro debut this week for Pulaski.

Well it seems they've chosen for the short term to be the San Fran Giants of the American League farm systems. One decent and one standout position player in the first two years isn't bad. The next two years they loaded up on three lefthanded starters in the first rounds. Purcey, Jackson, and Romero have to work out for this strategy to be worth it.
