Once again, it's been too long since the last Photo of the Week. I'm delaying GregH's pictures from the Larry Walker-Orlando Hudson meet-n-greet at St. Mary's for a few more days, but in the meantime here's a nice desktop of the no-longer-a-Blue-Jay, Orlando Hudson:

I had a dream last night that Larry Walker, in his new book, said that he wanted to come out of retirement and play for Russia, and then I got my hopes up that he could play for the Jays. Then all the Major Leaguers came from nowhere and started snatching up his book in the middle of a baseball diamond. Anyway, off to class.

I don't suppose any of you Canadians coozyed up to Walker and coxed him into dropping any hints about a mid-season return to baseball in a Jays uni, eh?

When I was at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame meet and greet with Larry Walker on January 15th, he was asked whether he would retire. His answer was that he had reinjured his neck over the Holidays and would retire. However, I note that he has not yet done so...
