Apparently.  The affiliates went 2-2 on the night.

Syracuse 10 at Norfolk 3

Sergio Santos has quietly been hitting much better recently.  At the end of April his average was at .212/.224/.242 and now he's up to .258/.277/.374 after a 2-6 night.  Ryan Robert's only hit of the game was a home run.  Mottola had three hits and Barker, Phillips, Cosby and Lydon all had two hits.

Jamie Vermilyea was the recipient of the run support and going 6 innings and giving up 3 runs, 2 earned.  Vinnie Chulk pitched two scoreless innings with *5* strikeouts.  I suspect he'll be called up sooner rather than later.

Erie 6 at New Hampshire 4

NH scored all 4 runs from the long ball.  Adam Lind hit 2 home runs giving him 11 home runs in 205 ABs.  Vito Chiaravalloti added a solo home run.

Michael MacDonald got the start for the Fisher Cats going 6 2/3 innings with 5 Ks and no walks.  He gave up 4 runs on 9 hits.

Sarasota 8 at Dunedin 6

Ryan Patterson had another strong night going 3-5 with two doubles.  Aaron Matthews had two hits, including a home run.

Robert Ray pitched 5 innings, giving up 3 runs on six hits.  He had three strikeouts and no walks.

Dayton 2 at Lansing 3

Brian Pettway went 2-4 with a home run to lead the Lansing offense.  Jacob Butler went 1-1 (a triple) with two walks.

Kris Bell went 7 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits.  Stidfole and Phillips pitched scoreless innings to finish the game.

Lind is now hitting .307/.353/.537, but as the power has arrived, so have the strikeouts.  He is on pace for roughly 30-35 homers, 45 walks and 135 strikeouts in a full season.  Personally, I'll take the additional power and the strikeouts.  Patterson is at .311/.355/.548 in Dunedin with very similar strikeout and walk data, and I imagine that both will be promoted a level at mid-season, although with the less-than-ideal strike zone control, the organization may move slowly.
