I wonder if the notoriety Tim Collins is starting to get isn't kind of messing with his psyche a little.

Huggins has yielded one earned run or fewer in each of 6 consecutive starts. Can we add one more to the sleeper list?  Despite the negativity in many areas, I maintain that the pitching depth in the minors especially AA on down (all the AAA pitchers are in the majors or on the DL-Ray, Mills) is well above average and represents a position of strength from which the club may be able to deal to fill other needs.

Buchholz had an impressive start yesterday, but it's hard to know how good it was because the Jays' lineup was so weak. Here's last night's 1-9 by OPS:

676
825
896
867
708
686
715
575
623

It isn't hard to imagine the Jays scoring 3+ runs with a reasonably productive lineup, instead of three good hitters, a promising rookie, and five scrubs.

Anyone else notice Magnuson has yet to allow a run in AA (in 8 innings over 4 appearances)?
