It really has been a sensational first month for our upper level SP prospects.

Sanchez is the only one that has been less than awesome, but he's still been pretty dang good.

I think that if a starter is needed from Buffalo, Hendriks should get first shot. He looked great in ST and has carried it over to AAA season.  I would leave Stroman and Nolin alone for now.

The Indians selected Torontonian George Kottaras' contract from Columbus. Would the Jays claim him off waivers once he could be designated for assignment later ? The Bisons' Nickeas is not hitting; Kottaras' career numbers are better than Nickeas'.

Nickeas is here more as Dickey backup - he has experience catching Dickey thus has some value as an emergency call-up. Of course, his 575 lifetime AAA OPS suggests that it might be better to just get someone else to practice catching the knuckleball a lot instead.
