NOTES
Seven hits for the Bisons. Leo Jimenez and Ali Sanchez had two each. Adam Macko started and went four innings. He threw 64 pitches and struck out five. Macko threw 66 pitches in his previous start so the Jays are being careful with is pitch count.
NH also had seven hits, four of them were doubles. Charles McAdoo and Gabriel Martinez singled and doubled. McAdoo hit poorly in April and May but is hitting .273 in June. He has a hit in 15 of 17 June games. Most of the time he has just one hit in each game which is why he is hitting .273 despite hitting in most games. However in the last week he is showing some power, he has seven extra base hits in the last week.
Ryan Watson was doing OK through 3.2 innings. Then Jay Harry made an error on a potential inning ending play. The next three hitters doubled and soon Watson was out of the game.
Vancouver had five hits. Nick Goodwin homered for the only run. Arjun Nimmala had two singles. Fernando Perez went five innings with four K's, no walks and one run allowed.
Dunedin and Clearwater combined for seven hits and the only run scored on a balk. Landen Maroudis went four innings, 56 pitches and the Phils had just one hit off him. Maroudis' velo topped out at 92 mph and he averaged 91. While his velo was down Maroudis just threw 22 fastballs out of his 56 pitches. He mixed in a slider, a curve and a changeup. It could be that while his velo is down he is forced to use all of his pitches and if his velo returns he will have the benefit of those other pitches.
The FCL Jays had six hits, Dariel Ramon went 3-5.
