NOTES
Buffalo are in an offensive slump right now, just like the parent club. They had three hits in the game and two of them came in the first inning when Buffalo scored their only run. Joey Loperfido led off the game with a single and later scored when Yohendrick Pinango singled.
Newly signed Elieser Hernandez started for Buffalo. The 30 year old Hernandez has 99 major league games under his belt. Hernandez did what the Jays signed him to do, six innings, two runs, one earned. Indy had only four hits in a pitching dominated game
Bobby Milacki started for NH and gave up five runs. The Fisher Cats had just four hits and made three errors so those five runs put the game out of reach. Eddinson Paulino hit a two run home run for NH's only runs.
It was gage Stanifer day in Hillsboro. Gage went five innings, five hits, one walk, eight K's. Three relievers followed and they one hit the Hops over four innings.
The game was tied until the seventh inning. In that inning Edward Duran singled in Nick Goodwin for the first run. The C's scored their other run in the eighth thanks to four walks.
Daniel Guerra started for Dunedin and was the star of the show. Six hitless innings with just one walk. He struck out eight. Guerra threw 75% 4 seam fastballs at an average of 94 mph and a high of 97. He got 17 whiffs on the fastball, basically he blew the hitters away. Guerra was essentially a two pitch pitcher, 95% of his pitches were the fastball and a slider. Relievers Danny Thompson Jr and Carson Myers gave up a hit each for a combined two hitter.
Jace Bohrofen has been on the IL for two months but he is back on rehab this week. He homered in this game and added an RBI single. Eric Snow went 3-4, one of the hits was a double. Dariel Ramon and Manuel Beltre each had two doubles.
