NOTES
Alek Manoah made the start for Buffalo. He got through three innings with one home run and a single conceded. But that all changed in the fourth. A double with one out and a two out single let in one run. An infield single and a walk loaded the bases. Manoah got a ground ball to third but Josh Kasevich made a throwing error, followed by a Buddy Kennedy error. All three runners scored. Jose Siri followed with a home run, making it a 7-0 game. Manoah then retired six in a row before he reached his 90 pitch limit. Manoah was charged with seven runs but only two were earned. He struck out five.
Adam Macko had been pitching well out of the bullpen but when he came on in the seventh inning he was taken deep for a three run home run. Macko gave up one more hit over his last seven outs.
The Bisons had eight hits, all singles. Joey Loperfido and Kennedy had two each.
New Hampshire took a 2-1 lead to the bottom of the ninth. Pat Gallagher was on the mound. He didn't get an out in that inning, three hits and a walk got Somerset the walk off win. Alex Amalfi had started and struck out seven in five innings. He was charged with one run.
NH had three hits to start the sixth inning which produced one run. A sac bunt and a sac fly drove in the second run. Charles McAdoo was elevated to the lead off spot and he went 3-5.
Austin Cates is on a roll. He struck out nine in six innings. He was charged with one run on back to back doubles in the fifth inning. Those were the only two hits he allowed. Over his last four starts in Vancouver Cates has struck out 36 in 23 innings. He has given up nine hits and four walks, 13 baserunners in those 23 innings. Juanmi Vasquez struck out six in three innings, making it 15 K's for the C's for the second night in a row.
The C's scored three in the third and three more in the fourth. In the third Sean Keys tripled, Arjun Nimmala singled, Carter Cunningham doubled in a run and Cunningham scored on a fielders choice. In the next inning Keys singled, Nimmala walked and Cunningham hit a three run home run. Cunningham also singled to give him three hits in the game. Tucker Toman also had three hits and a walk.
Dunedin played a roller coaster game. They led 3-0 in the fourth inning, trailed 6-3 in the fifth, tied the game at six in the seventh and went down 7-6 in the eighth. Daniel Guerra started and he did OK, despite the score. He just went four innings, four hits and five walks led to just one run.
Dunedin scored six runs with just seven hits. They walked five times and Bradenton made three errors. Yeuni Munoz, Jake Casey and Jaxson West each doubled.
