Vancouver Canadians
The Vancouver Canadians are not in this year’s Northwest League Championship and wrapped up their season last Sunday against the Everett Aquasox.
They finished with 75 wins, second most in franchise history. The Candians played in all three of the previous Championship series, losing in 2022 and 2024 and winning in 2023.
Buffalo Bison
The Bisons were 9-2 winners Wednesday over the Rochester Red Wings.
The Bisons blasted out of the gate scoring five in the top of the first and cruised to the win after that.
Yohendrick Pinango’s double opened the scoring as it brought home Jonatan Clase and moved Buddy Kennedy to 3rd.
Trey Yesavage had four stirkeouts in three innings of work and Riley Tirotta was one for three with two walks, three RBI’s and a run.
Buffalo and Rochester play again today at 6:05 PM ET.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats
The Fisher Cats won in 10 innings, 3-1 Wednesday thanks to a Je’Von Ward single that scored Eddinson Paulino. Chesapeake’s Zane Barnhart issued a free pass to Jace Bohrofen and Damiano Palmegiani that setup Ward’s RBI.
New Hampshire and Chesapeake play today at 6:35 PM ET.
