Game Threads Jays at Tigers: May 15 - 17
The Jays take their Tampa bruises into Detroit trying to get back into series winning ways. After Detroit the Jays head to the Bronx for four games so it is time to get back in sync.

SCHEDULE

Friday: Yesavage vs Hanifee

Saturday: Miles(?) vs Mize

Sunday: Gausman vs Flaherty


The Jays and the Tigers are in similar positions. The Jays record is 19-24, the Tigers 19-25. In their last tern games the Jays are 3-7, the Tigers 2-8. The Jays have a -14 run differential, Detroit is -10.

Obviously the big question going into this series is can Vlad get back on track. And the same goes for Springer.

Saturday sees Spencer Miles probably getting another start. Can he pitch his way into a rotation spot?

Nothing new on Jose Berrios, yet. Probably know more tomorrow. Surgery is on the table per John Schneider.

Still talking through what next steps are. Berrios is on the fence about where he goes from here.
