Buffalo played another low scoring/low hitting game. The Bisons led 2-1 into the eighth when Yondrei Rojas, making his AAA debut, gave up a triple, a single and a home run. Three runs in and the Bisons trailed 4-2. Richard Gallardo started and he pitched six innings with one run allowed.
The Bisons had five hits. Nick Goodwin hit his first AAA home run and added a double. Ismael Munguia also had two hits.
The NH game was also a low scoring game. Binghamton had three hits, NH had four. Aaron Parker hit his 19th home run to score the Fisher Cats only run.
Danny Thompson Jr started, went one inning and left the game. He was charged with two runs, one earned. One of the relievers was Fernando Perez. He threw 2.2 innings, gave up one hit, a home run, but he also walked three. He struck out four.
For Vancouver Ryan Sprock hit a two run home run in the first inning. The C's kept the lead until the eighth. Tri-City scored two in the eighth and three more in the ninth. That spoiled a good start by Silvano Hechavarria who went six innings with one run allowed on five hits.
Sprock added a single and a double to his home run. David Calabrese singled and doubled.
Jared Spencer made his pro debut for Dunedin and it didn't go as he dreamed it might. He threw 17 pitches, six strikes and walked three. He was removed after getting one out. Denis Samudio followed and went 5.1 shutout innings with seven K's.
RJ Schreck and Jake Bennett homered back to back in the first inning. Aldo Gaxiola hit his 18th HR in the fourth. The Jays had nine hits, Bennett was the only hitter with two hits.
