The choices include three top starters each from the Yankees, Red Sox and Indians, as I assume two of those three teams, but not all three, will make the playoffs.

Aaron Small's theme music in this poll is the old Sesame Street classic "One of These Things is Not Like the Others."

Despite his strugles this season Randy Johnson deserves the ace role more so than the others. No matter how much I know 'clutch' is more luck than real I still think of Johnson as one of those guys who just pushes it up a notch when needed.

Small has been amazing this year though and if I was the Yankees I'd keep him available just in case because luck can be more important than skill some days and Aaron has tons of luck this year.

I expected to see Chacon in this list. I don't know if I'd choose him, but I'd think about it.

Matthew, which of the three Yanks would you remove for Chacon? I thought it came down to Chacon or Small and went with the 10-0 guy, if only for cosmetic reasons; the record LOOKS cool.

But that's a reasonable "Other" and at least you're not one of the three voters who picked "Other" then didn't specify, even though we said "please," all nice-like.
