A lot of teams I don't mind, but none I really like. I voted "other", in the hopes that a true NBA underdog makes a run, like Memphis or Milwaukee. Of course, basketball is a large sample sport, even more than baseball (half the games, but each game has a hundred or so scoring plays), so underdogs have almost no chance. Which would make it even more fun if a 7th or 8th seed actually won the championship.

Also of note, the Bulls game on last night (one of the sportsnets?) was hilarious for the amazing homerism of the announcing. Chicago sports seems to be aiming for that, since baseball is the same for both teams, and I seem to recall the hockey broadcasts being similar. It made me appreciate that most Canada-based broadcasts are actually pretty good in comparison.

Kind of lost interest in the NBA when it went "hollywood" but I'd go for the Suns just because of Steve Nash.

I think you have to disqualify the Lakers, Celtics and maybe now Heat from having a late bandwagon .... those three teams have fans all over the country, for a variety (and some of the same) reasons and aren't really "bandwagon"-friendly.

Let's go Mavericks! What new and different way can we find to crap the bed this year???

Heat fans are the ultimate bandwagon jumpers.

I find myself rooting for the Thunder - KD cancels out the carpetbagging owners, and the team as a whole is pretty likable. I'd also like to see a Heat/Celtics series, preferably in the second round, and a nice playoff run for Chauncey Billups.

You mean when the Minneapolis Lakers moved to LA in 1960?

Good one Chuck :) Actually that's a bit before my time, as I started listening to the San Fransisco Warriors radio broadcasts in 1965 when we moved to BC. I think in the last 10-20 years the game and especially the people in the game have changed and not to my liking. Maybe I'm just old school but I liked it better in the 60's, 70's and 80's than in the 90's and on. It's not the talent or even game play so much but the personalities and the gong show it has become. Now that's just my opinion so don't be too hard on this old guy. :)
