A propos of absolutely nothing, it's mildly interesting that if one were to alphabetize these eight by last name, ALL the NL guys would come before ALL the AL guys.

If they had just loaned 15 AL guys to the NL All-Star team, would anyone have noticed?  What a mismatch.
