Yesterday and the day before we featured photographs of the coaching staff with Bauxites supplying their inner monologues; today we feature John Gibbons. What's he thinking here?

"You missed a spot."

If you look very, very closely at the lineup card, you can that this is the game where the Jays blew a 4-1 lead in the final two innings (and Gregg Zaun memorably got himself ejected.)

I was wondering - why the circles beside certain hitters on each team? I think I have it. You see two circles after Hinske, one each after Wells, Hillenbrand, and Catalanotto.

Someone puts a circle by the batter who made the last out of the inning. Wells ended the first inning, Hinske the second, and so on.

The six circles after Tampa hitters tells us that we're heading to or in the bottom of the sixth inning, Jays leading 2-1.

You're welcome.

Whoever made up that lineup card spelled Gonzalez wrong.

A botched lineup card? So that's how Pat Quinn kept himself busy during the NHL lockout.
