Sunday's series finale is Photo Day.  Here's a look back at the 2009 event.

Lefties from left to the other left:  Scott Downs, Jesse Carlson, B.J. Ryan & Brian Tallet.

From left to right:  John McDonald, Shawn Camp, Aaron Hill & Lyle Overbay.

From left to right:  Rod Barajas, Scott Rolen, Vernon Wells & Kevin Millar.

From left to right:  Alex Rios, Marco Scutaro, Travis Snider & Adam Lind.

From left to right:  Dustin McGowan, Jason Frasor & Brandon League.

Brian Wolfe.

Scott Richmond.

Raul Chavez.

Jose Bautista.

From left to right:  Robert Ray & Brett Cecil.

Of the 25 players pictured here, here's a current breakdown of where all the players are.........

  • 7 are no longer with the organization (Barajas, Rolen, Millar, Rios, Scutaro, League, Wolfe)
  • 2 are in the minors (Carlson, Chavez)
  • 5 are on the disabled list/rehabing in the minors (Snider, McGowan, Richmond, Ray, Tallet)

Not pictured here was Roy Halladay.  The starting pitcher for Photo Day is usually excused from taking part in the festivities.  Doc needed to prep for his surgical precision as he carved up the White Sox over seven strong innings in an 8-2 smackdown last May 17th.   Anyone hoping to get an up-close picture of Ricky Romero, Sunday's scheduled starter, will be out of luck most likely.

It appears this year's Photo Day will follow the same format as last year's.  Most of the players will be sitting down in groups behind a fence in the outfield for people to take their pictures with a handful of players being available to pose with fans inside photo tents.  Folks have to line up with their cameras at Gate 15 and prepare to wait in the bowels of the stadium before the herd is released onto the field at 11:30 a.m.  You have until high noon before Phillies security begin to taser people off the field.   It's only fair, now that Philly has Doc and three extra home games at the Jays expense.

Anyways, first pitch is at 1:07 p.m. as lefty Ricky Romero (4-2, 3.42) goes against Jeremy Guthrie (3-4, 3.64).
