Really happy to see Smith bouncing back. The Jays young group of 18 YO pitchers is incredible. SRW, Pardinho, Kloffenstein, and Williams are all exciting guys. Add Pearson and Manoah and guys like Kay, Murphy, and Zeuch and I think the Jays have the makings of a good rotation a couple years down the road.

Kay is starting today for Buffalo I think. SRW maybe Friday? (Dunedin has starters lined up next 2 games already).

Agreed Glevin, promising signs in the minors again with Smith rebounding and a number of high upside arms in the lower minors.
Tellez has mashed since going back down, hope we see him back up soon.
Baker should get a shot in Toronto by the end of the year if he can continue to rack up the Ks in AAA.
I don't know anything about 17 year old 2B prospect Adrian Montero, but 18BBs vs. 7 Ks, 14 SBs vs. 4 CS, and a wRC+ of 143 in his first 117 PAs as a pro seems promising.

Smith does not need to  be protected from the rule V draft until 2020.
He's about 3 months younger than Urena and will likely spend the rest of the year in AA, even though Urena would get called up if Glavis is moved.

Having failed to trade Smoak and Galvis, we're probably not seeing Tellez until September.

Excellent game for the trio of Lopez, Moreno and Conine today.

Conine with a typical three true outcomes day: 1/4 with a HR, 2 BB, 2 K

Kay has looked fine enough so far, all the runs he is giving up are just non-stop garbage slow roll singles.

Change of scenery not helping so far.

I thought he'd be in tough versus the hottest lineup in the IL, but consistent first pitch balls are never a good sign.
