Just like Friday, New Hampshire were the only winners. Vancouver's game was rained out and will not be made up as tomorrow is the last day of the season. The FCL Jays finished their season with a loss. The minor league season will end with two of the system's best hitters, Jordan Groshans and Orelvis Martinez, on the IL.

Buffalo 2 Rochester 4

Harrisburg 2 New Hampshire 5

Hillsboro at Vancouver - game cancelled

Clearwater 4 Dunedin 1

FCL Blue Jays 4 FCL Yankees 7

This is what I noted from yesterday's games.

Buffalo are on a mini losing streak. Thomas Hatch pitched 2.2 innings and left the game with the bases loaded. Jacob Waguespack came on in relief and gave up a grand slam. That was the game.

The Bisons two runs came from rehabbing major leaguers. Cavan Biggio and Santiago Espinal homered. Biggio had three hits, his second three hit game in his last three games.

Nick Fraze pitched for the first time in 16 days. He went 2.2 innings and gave up two runs. From the "you never know baseball" files Julian Valdez had a 5.44 ERA in Dunedin, was promoted two levels to New Hampshire, and he threw 3.1 shutout innings to get the win.

The Fisher Cats had eight hits, just one extra base hit. Spencer Horwitz had two hits, one a double, and drove in two runs. Kevin Vicuna had three hits.

For Dunedin Rainer Nunez homered for the Jays only run. Gabriel Martinez followed up his three hit performance on Friday with a double on Saturday.

Dahian Santos started, pitched three innings, and gave up a two run home run.

The FCL Jays played their last game of the season. The Jays used 17 hitters as everyone got a chance to end their season with a hit.

The Jays had one of the best offenses in the league. 23 year old Adriel Sotolongo, 19 year old Amell Brazoban, 18 year old Gabriel Martinez and 20 year old Rainer Nunez all hit well with OPS's over .800. None were draft picks and so flew under the radar as there was no play for them last season. The pitching was below average. 18 year old Kendry Rojas was the best of the bunch. Rafael Ohashi and Dahian Santos showed some promise. Michael Dominguez pitched better away from the FCL than in it.

Three Stars

Third Star - Julian Valdez

Second Star - Kevin Vicuna

First Star - Spencer Horwitz
