The Buffalo hitters racked up 12 more hits en route to a win. Ricky Tiedemann wasn't at his best but still kept Norfolk relatively silent through four innings.

NOTES

Tiedemann went four innings using 75 pitches, 41 strikes and 34 balls. That is not as sharp as you would like to see. But he only walked two, and when you add two hits, that's a nice start. He struck out six. The one run he allowed was unearned due to a catcher error. Adam Cimber followed Tiedemann and he gave up three hits in just two thirds of an inning.

Offensively Addison Barger had a nice game. He drove in two runs in the third inning with a single, although he was only credited with one RBI due to an error. He doubled in two more in the fourth. Raffy Lantigua had three hits and drove in three runs. Damiano Palmegiani was 2-3 with a walk and was hit by a pitch. Ernie Clement had two more hits to add to his four yesterday.

I was looking at Evan Carter's fangraphs page. He just turned 21, and the prospect report was from before the start of the season. The TL:DR was "doesn't have the power for stardom".

The error bar on projecting those 20 and under is very large. It's not unique to fangraphs, of course. Which is how Albert Pujols ends up as a late round pick.
