We are now officially back with all four Toronto Blue Jays affiliates in action.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats lost 10-9 to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies on Friday to start their 2026 season.

The game went into the 13th before the Rumble Ponies got a single run when D'Andre Smith scored. A.J. Ewing had reached on a fielder's choice. The Fisher Cats could not get a couple of runs across despite having last at bat in the bottom of the inning.

The Fisher Cats and the Rumble Ponies continue their series today with New Hampshire leading 1-0 in the sixth inning at the time of this writing.

Dunedin Blue Jays

Trey Yesavage found himself in familiar territory to begin the season as he was on the hill for the Dunedin Blue Jays yesterday as part of his MLB rehabilitation assignment. He gave up an inside-the-park home run while striking out three and walking one in Dunedin’s season opener.

Yesavage opened 2025 in Dunedin and was in the majors by September, capping that off with a start against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Iowa Meat Truck, Peyton Williams, went 2-4 with an RBI and a run, but the Marauders 3 in the seventh and two runs in the eighth, which was the difference.

Bradenton and Dunedin will play a doubleheader today, as one game is a makeup from April 2nd. The second game will see Patrick Corbin make his debut as the parent club signed him to a deal for pitching depth.

Vancouver Canadians

The Vancouver Canadians began their season on the road in Tri-City against the Dust Devils, losing 8-6 in Pasco, Washington.

Arjun Nimmala, the Blue Jays' number three prospect, blasted an opposite-field home run on the first pitch he saw and had another hit and four RBI’s while Landen Maroudis had four strikeouts and three scoreless innings of work. It was his High-A debut.

Tri-City’s Juan Flores’ two-run single in the bottom of the eighth was the difference in this one as the teams traded the lead in this game four times.

The Canadians and DustDevils play again tonight at 6:30PM PDT. Daniel Guerra will make his Vancouver debut, while Tyler Bremner, the Angels' number one prospect, will get the ball for his first professional start.

Buffalo Bisons

The Buffalo Bisons game against the Omaha Storm Chasers was cancelled due to weather, and a doubleheader is scheduled for April 4th. We have Chad Dallas starting in one game, with starters for both teams TBD in the second.

I'm liking the cut of Chad Dallas' jib so far.
