The Mighty O-Drum makes its triumphant return to SkyDome tonight!

As usual, the party is in 518. RSVPs are indicating a higher-than-usual turnout, which is fine by me.

Saturday I don't think I can make because I'm hosting a bachelor party for a buddy of mine in the evening, and lots of things remain to be taken care of, but Sunday I'll be there. I don't know the O-Drum's weekend plans, but I'll post an update as soon as I do.

I'll be out of town for two weeks starting on Monday. Do we have any volunteers to lead the Cheer Club while I'm gone?

Alex has 'em, and he'll be bringing them. Alex, maybe you should show up slightly early to secure the front row of a section?

Hey Kiddios.

O-Drum will be there tonight and MAYBE Sunday. I will know about Sunday by tonight. I am unavailable tomorrow due to Saturday being a rugby day.

Can we get the front few rows for the O-Drum and the signs, or will teh O-Drum force us to take the 10th row or so?
Named For Hank - Friday, May 28 2004 @ 01:31 PM EDT (#61427) #
They don't really like the drum to be too close to the front, though last time we sat around the fifth row and it was fine. If you get there early-ish, make sure to request seats in 518, that way we'll have tickets for the first rows of the section and they won't sell 'em to someone else.

C'mon, he won't be encouraged by it if he hates it.

Adams has earned a little grief from the fans. If he also doesn't have a sense of humour, in addition to not acting like much of a team player and blowing up at inopportune times, I say Get Outta Town.

The De Los Santos K might be too obscure, and I like the way the other K's have a consistent style - big picture, K at the bottom right.

Maybe you should make up some generic K's to fill in until you've got specific ones for each pitcher.

I think that the Ks with the images in the background (like the Addams Family) are far superior to the pictures with the little K in the corner.

Personal preference, and there is no reason why you couldn't mix the two.

Actually, that could work for guys like Aquilino - find a bunch of Lopezes and use a different Lopez with each K.
Named For Hank - Friday, May 28 2004 @ 04:00 PM EDT (#61457) #

I still like that idea we came up with a long time ago for Roy's K's in the Rx perscription thing.

The doctors outfits for his starts are a great idea. My friend and I actually wanted to do it last year but gave up when we saw costume prices. If anyone can find a good price that would be sweet.

So the sportsnet commentators actually showed and discussed every personalized K tonight!? What the devil did they say about the chops? I imagine they were thrown for a loop.

I think the trailer park boys picture (COMN) should be used. I mean, we aren't saying derogatory about Terry Adams; rather we are only suggesting that he looks like Ricky. The resemblance is so uncanny that it should be used. The comedic value of the picture is pure gold. If it helps, maybe the Trailer Park Boys title can be cropped. Instead of assuming that Terry Adams wouldn't like it, why can't we assume that the guy has a sense of humour.

How long will you be gone for NFH? The jays dont even play in the dome again until LA on June 8th.

I hope most of you in the GTA will be at Sunday's game to give the Jays a nice send off before their road trip. I attend a rediculous number of homegames and I live about an hour drive from the dome so anyone in that time frame has no excuse. I actually felt pretty guilty about not going to Saturdays game.

Not to detract from Fawaz's great work, but I still like the perscription Rx that has been brought up several times before. It works on many levels in that its simple, classic, very easy to see and recognize from far away and it makes sense, like the good doctor is "perscribing" strikeouts.

Here is a little something I whipped up in paint in 2.3 minutes just so everyone who has no idea what im talking about can say "Ohhhh... THAT thing"

the FAN's Milner, (Mike?) was talking about the section 518 guys on the post game show yesterday, as an example of welcome cheering from the crowd.

I arrive back on June 13th. I'm taking my dad and grandpa to that game (in the Club level), so I won't be Cheer Clubbing again until the next homestand.

It's official -- my buddy whose bachelor party was supposed to be last night who instead spent six hours on the tarmac at an airport in Denver because his plane was grounded by a bad storm is coming to the game today, so the game will sort of be his bachelor party.

He was sitting beside William Hung the whole time.
