The #1 Walrus and #2 T-Birds square off this week. The Walrus basically just need to avoid catastrophe in order to virtually secure a first-round bye. My Senators hope that Kent will destroy the Thunderbirds, giving me a chance to usurp the other bye. Unless the Eastern Shore Birds blow out the Senators this week, only eight teams have a decent chance at making the Championship Bracket. On the downside, Baird Brain needs to imitate the ’51 Giants in order to avoid relegation. Slippery Pete needs two weeks of strong performances to avoid returning to Barfield.
