In another thread, Mike Green muses, "As long as Bob Walk isn't pitching ..." which led me to think, "Yeah, and you could pull him from the game and lose nothing by bringing in Grant Balfour."

See where this is headed? I have nothing specific in mind, but instead just invite everyone here to brainstorm and nominate the players who would make up the all-disastrously-named squad. From Balfour and Walk to Klutts and Kluttz, who belongs on this team? Remember, no nicknames, so Hugh "Losing Pitcher" Mulcahy is right out ...

Well, there was the old Gross vs Belcher games, then having one relief the other.  Not a disaster but not pretty :)

Pronounciation be damned, J.J. Putz deserves a spot.

Walt Dropo is a bit of a stretch, but he does have one of the better B-R sponsors I've seen.

Enos Slaughter has gotta be in there.

Curt Flood might be an option in centerfield and Burke Badenhop, while a pitcher with limited time in 2008 on his resume could be shifted to second or short to take full advantage of his interesting name.

Bob "Hurricane" Hazle made his debut in September, 1955.  I would have thought that the nickname would have been a tad touchy at that point.

While not in the bigs, there is a prospect playing in 2007 for the Western Mustangs of the Ontario University Athletics program by the name of Conrad Bach.  That would be an unfortunate name for a pitcher; but Conrad, as it turns out was hitting .370 and was not a pitcher.

Well, there was a minor league pitcher with the name of Brandon Balkcom.
Homer Hillebrand and Homer Spragins would make a nice lefty/righty duo from the bullpen to relieve Jay Baller.

Of course, it's impossible to tell what happens when they face Bill Kay. One of 2 of the 3 true outcomes, probably..
And if they ever face Boob Fowler or Dick Fowler, they AB may never end..

Rich Gale deserves a mention.  There is a pitcher now in the minors named Jacob Wild.
