Spencer Horwitz was a triple short of the cycle for Buffalo. Unfortunately his teammates could only pick up one hit. New Hampshire hit three home runs on the way to a win. Vancouver just had one dinger but they also won. And finally Dunedin hit two home runs for another win.

We have some detailed pitching numbers for Dahian Santos and Eric Pardinho.

Syracuse 4 Buffalo 2

Hartford 4 New Hampshire 5

Vancouver 6 Everett 5

Clearwater 3 Dunedin 6

FCL Blue Jays 5 FCL Phillies 5 - suspended, 4 innings

This is what I noted from yesterday's games.

Spencer Horwitz went 3-4, the rest of the team was 1-25. Horwitz hit his first AAA home run, doubled and singled. In a very short sample Horwitz is hitting .421.

Thomas Hatch went five shutout innings. Three relievers combined to give up four runs in the eighth.

All five New Hampshire runs came from the long ball. Zac Cook hit a solo shot in the first inning, Ryan Gold added a two run shot in the fourth and Chris Bec hit his own two run shot in the seventh.

Paxton Schultz was excellent, 5.2 innings just one hit and one run. Gabriel Ponce ran into trouble in the ninth to make the score closer than it was after eight.

Addison Barger hit his 14th home run, his only hit of the night. Zach Britton doubled twice and drove in two. Garrett Spain also drove in two. Mac Mueller tripled to drive in the other run.

Jimmy Robbins made the start and went 3.2 innings. He has a little trouble with strikes, he walked three, but only gave up one hit.

Dahian Santos did what he usually does, five innings, eight K's, two runs on a two run home run. Santos threw 69 pitches, 37 were classed as sinkers and 23 sliders. He got 13 whiffs on 40 swings. His fastball maxed out at 93.6 with an average velocity of 92.1.

Santos was followed by Eric Pardinho who threw two shutout innings. His pitch mix included 9 fastballs, 6 changeups, four curves, four cutter/sinkers and one slider for a total of 24. He got 14 swings and 5 whiffs. His fastball maxed out a 93.6 with an average velo of 91.7. His change up was probably his most effective pitch with two called strikes and two whiffs on six pitches.

Dasan Brown his his third home run of the season, Riley Tirotta, on rehab from Vancouver, hit a three run shot. Both home run had exit velocities of 102 mph. Gabriel Martinez was 2-4 as he recovers from his wrist injury.

The FCL game was suspended in the fourth but before the lightning came Irv Carter was roughed up again. In three innings he allowed six hits, a double, a triple a home run and three singles. Carter didn't walk anyone and struck out three but it looks like his location is off or his fastball is too straight as he continues to give up loud contact.
