The Vancouver Canadians (41-35) now sit first overall in the Northwest League Standings to date despite starting the second half 4-6.
Vancouver beat Everett 7-3 Wednesday night with three run innings in the fourth and sixth and added an insurance run in the eighth after Everett added three of their own.
Sean Keys’ double moved Cutter Coffey to third in the fourth and then Arjun Nimmala singled Coffey home. Eddie Micheletti Jr. returned to the favour to Nimmala with his own knock that scored Nimmala.
Victor Arias’ triple in the sixth scored three making it 6-0 and that all but sealed the deal even with Everett’s three runs in the eighth.

The Bisons were 5-3 winners Wednesday against the Rochester Red Wings thanks to a three run fifth inning.
Will Robertson’s double scored Riley Tirotta in the fifth and that made it 4-3 for the Bison’s and then Rainer Nunez’s ground rule double allowed Robertson to score.
Buffalo is now 34-47 on the season. The two teams play again today at 6:05 PM ET.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats deafated the Portalnd Sea Dogs 4-1 Wednesday with recent call ups Jackson Hornung and Je'Von Ward figuring in the scoring. Hornung had a solid game for New Hampshire with a run, two hits and an RBI.Charles McAdoo’s two run homer scored Hornung in the bottom of the first to give the Fisher Cats a quick 2-0 lead
A Jacob Sharp single made it 3-0 in the bottom of the second scoring Ward and the Cats would add another in this frame to build a 4-0 lead after two.
New Hampshire and Portland play today at 6:35 PM ET.
Dunedin Blue Jays
The Dunedin Blue Jays were the lone affialiate losers to the Lakeland Flying Tigers on Wednesday as Lakeland’s two runs in the seventh proved to be the difference.
Dunedin managed seven hits and left nine on base in this one with the only bright spot being Alex De Jesus’ double.
