Gotta mention Gage Stanifer doing his thing last night. 5.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 9 K. 80 pitches, 52 strikes.

McAdoo since his development stint:

113pa, 5.3b%, 23.9k%, .333babip, .283avg, .226iso, 137wrc+

that's more like it. even though he's still only at 96wrc+ on the year due to his brutal start, he seems to be hitting at a level deserving of a promotion, for a while now.

no need to bump him up yet but if he keeps it up at least a promotion to AAA at the end of the year or next year will actually be earned.

Brandon Barriera got through two good innings for the FCL Jays today, one walk, three K's, no hits. The rains arrived then so I am not sure if he would have come back out for a third inning. It is probably best to cap it at two innings as a confidence builder for him.

Some nice performances coming out of June. Stephen King was scary good in June and on the mound again tomorrow.

Stephen King writes a lot of scary and good books, but I'm not sure how good he is on the mound.

Stephen King = TBJ prospects Khal Stephen and Johnny King who (I think) are on same rotation schedule.

I hear Stephen King’s pitches have good Carrie. He also has the “It” factor scouts are looking for.

I kind of like the idea of Stephen King as a pitcher. I can see him taking The Long Walk in from the bullpen and creating a lot of Misery for the batters.
