The good...Adam Kloffenstein struck out six in 3.1 innings. The bad....Scranton scored eight runs off him in those 3.1 innings. The good....Mason Fluharty pitched two perfect innings with four K's, he might be getting back on track. The bad...the Bisons had just three hits, all singles, two for Rainer Nunez.
Juaron Watts-Brown had a rough start for NH. After breezing through the first inning JWB walked the first hitter in the second in a nine pitch at-bat. He then walked two more but recovered to get two outs. But then an eleven pitch walk pushed his pitch count for the inning to 37 and his night was done. Seven hits for NH, two for Gabriel Martinez.
Khal Stephen had a great start for Vancouver, six innings, three hits, no walks, five K's. His record is now 6-1 and his ERA is 1.49.
Sean Keys hit his tenth home run, a solo shot in the fourth. In the sixth Carter Cunningham hit his ninth home run, good for three runs and enough for the win. Keys and Nicolas Deschamps had two hits each.
Dunedin's game was shortened to six innings because of rain. Holden Wilkerson made his debut in A ball. He threw 4.2 innings and gave up two runs, one earned on five hits. He struck out four.
Edward Duran was 2-3. Lizandro Rodriguez also had two hits but made two errors.
In the FCL Luis Quinones started on rehab but did not get through the first inning. Troy Guthrie then went 4.2 innings, two runs allowed on five hits with five K's. David Beckles went 3-5.
