McGregory Contreras hit two home runs but unfortunately Vancouver lost. The GCL Jays won as Gabriel Moreno had three doubles. Brock Lundquist, Miguel Hiraldo and DJ Daniels each had three hits but their teams lost. Max Pentecost and Harold Ramirez had three hits each as New Hampshire won. Also in the New Hampshire game, Forrest Wall and Vlad Jr. homered. Graham Spraker had the pitching line of the night.

Bo Bichette had a couple of doubles to get New Hampshire a win. Vancouver got great pitching and won via a shutout. Buffalo, Dunedin, Lansing and Bluefield all lost.

It was a quiet night on the farm. Cavan Biggio hit a late home run to earn a win for New Hampshire. Vancouver won in extra innings but everyone else lost. Even New Hampshire lost a game, the other side of a doubleheader. There were few standout performances. Some nights picking the top three stars is tough because there are several stand-outs. On Wednesday the pickings were slimmer.

The Farm has had better weekends, but there was still a lot to be excited about. Jordan Groshans performed admirably down in the GCL next to a rehabbing Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Bo Bichette had four hits before taking off to the Future's Game. Griffin Conine has started well in Vancouver and Eric Pardinho looks the part in Bluefield.

There was lots of hitting and some good pitching on Thursday. On some nights there are only a couple of hitters with a multi hit game. Vancouver had seven of them, Dunedin had four. Sean Reid-Foley ran hot and cold but Buffalo won in the tenth inning. Max Pentecost hit a three run home run in the first inning but the Fisher Cats could not build on it and lost 5-4. Riley Adams and Kevin Smith hit well, Dunedin won 3-0. Lansing bats were hot, Chavez Young hit a grand slam, the Lugnuts won 11-8. Vancouver put up 16 hits, very high for them and won 7-1. Otto Lopez keeps on hitting. Bluefield bats were also hot, Davis Schneider went deep as the Jays won. The GCL and DSL Jays also won.

Patrick Murphy was dominant for seven innings on Wednesday. But the Dunedin bullpen, and Vancouver's too, coughed up four runs in the ninth to turn likely wins into two losses. Lansing also dominated but with offense, Ryan Noda and Chavez Young led the hitters. Bluefield had a late lead but lost it and the game. Buffalo and New Hampshire had their all-star breaks and the GCL Jays had a routine day off. In Vancouver's loss Otto Lopez went four for four and has yet to strike out with Vancouver.

Some really solid pitching performances across the farm over the weekend while some fringe-y prospects continue to put themselves on the map. Cavan Biggio could well hit 30 homeruns this season and Kevin Smith continues to rake. Way down there our high draft picks from this past year's draft are off to impressive starts.
