Don't forget that Jonah Keri of Baseball Prospectus will be in Toronto on Sunday. If you haven't been to one of the previous get-togethers with Will Carroll, you've missed some great baseball discussion and a lot of fun. This one is at Shoeless Joe's (on Eglinton just east of Avenue Rd.) starting at noon with a Q & A, followed by food and the Jays game -- some tall lefty is supposed to pitch for Arizona.

Although attendance is limited to 30, there are a few spots still available, so if you're interested, RSVP to Jonah and we'll see you there.

Coach, or anyone else, do you happen to know the nearest TTC stop or the best bus route to get there?

Thomas, it's within easy walking distance of Eglinton station, or you can hop on a westbound #32 bus and get off at Oriole Parkway -- about two or three stops. If the Spadina subway line is more convenient, take the train to Eglinton West and catch an eastbound #32 bus.

You're a 5-10 minute walk from Eglinton Station or you can take the 32 Eglinton bus if you're coming from the west.

Actually, I think that Shoeless Joe's is right at the corner of Oriole Pkwy. and Eglinton (east of Avenue Road). You can walk from the Eglinton subway station (roughly 5 blocks), or take the Eglinton West bus, which'll let you off right near the door.

Sadly, I won't be able to make it.

My girlfriend has been away for 5 months, and comes back Saturday night, so I'll be otherwise occupied on Sunday.
