Following a miserable roadtrip the job doesn't get any easier with the St. Louis Cardinals making their first ever appearance at the Dome. The boys in blue are going to need our support and there should be some great games to watch.

It's hard to pass up an opportunity to see Pujols, Walker and Edmonds in person. Tuesday provides the return of Chris Carpenter and there is hardly a player who is more fun to cheer for than David Eckstein. Although we may not see it on display, it seems few players in baseball are as unique of an individual as Julian Tavarez. Apparently, Wednesday will see Vinnie Chulk make his first career MLB start. Lots to see this series, so who is going down to the Rogers Centre?

Vinnie is seriously starting Wednesday? Wow. Good luck Incredible Chulk, but I thought part of his effectiveness came from the fact that he was throwing harder out of the pen. Should be interesting.

Checking the Jays' website, Wednesday's starter is now Lilly. I wonder why Chulk's name was posted? Error or change of mind? Either way, I think it would have been good to skip Lilly if for no other reason than to send him a message.
Chulk couldn't have been any worse and he may actually listen to the pitching coach.

I was just passing on what was reported. With the way Lilly's pitching, I didn't mind the move at all.

I most definitely won't make it Monday or Tuesday....maybe Wednesday. This will be the last series that I miss. Can't wait for Milwaukee.

My search for the horn of Gondor appears to have come to an end. Would be a great idea, though.
