This week we have a pinch hit photo to share with you -- GregH and his sons were at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame meet 'n' greet with Larry Walker and Orlando Hudson.

Here's Walker with the boys:

Nice jerseys, gentlemen!

Looks like Larry has a tattoo on his left ring finger, instead of a wedding ring perhaps?

Nice photo.

What's the ring on his right hand? NL Champs?

It's the 2004 NL Championship ring.

A minute or two later, my boys were across the table from Larry Walker - he took off the ring and handed it to the older boy (the one with the hair). I told my son afterward that he had had in his hand something that nobody he knows ever has or likely ever will hold.

The jerseys my sons are wearing are VW for the older one and ODog for the younger one. Hudson autographed the number on the younger one's jersey.

Many thanks to NFH for making my snapshot look so good and for posting it.

In a former life, I spent a lot of time making fine art out of terrible photographs. Yours actually needed very little work.

The picture of the dog wearing the tiara was a low point in my career and really told me that I needed to make a change. Not only was it a bad picture to begin with, but the owner had spilled beer on it and the emulsion of the print was stuck to the frame. I spent three hours retouching the dog wearing the tiara.

I still haven't gotten it back, btw.
