Snider's OPS with bases empty is .709 and with runners on is 1.122.  Nice.  80+ PA for both stats.  He is hitting .466 with RISP.  I'm hoping he gets to Dunedin when the Rookie League rosters are set.

I think Patterson should get a little slack considering the injury.

He was hot in spring training when he went down, then when he came back he had a few good games before slumping.

Considering the time that he missed July might be when he "hits" his groove. The guy did hit 25 homers last year.

Patterson is a keeper, no question. I'm interested in Joey "Metro" Metropoulos. The guy has been injured a lot, just off the DL again (I think), he's got Snider type power...if healthy...wow.

Thigpen's worked out better than I expected - he was a bit of a surprise pick - BA didn't have him in their top 200.

2004 is turning out to be a really good draft.  Lind and Janssen are on the Jays, Jackson was part of the Overbay trade, Thigpen's a solid catching prospect who's probably the 2nd best catcher in the organization right now, Litsch got a cup of coffee, and Purcey, Yates, MacDonald, & Mathews could still add to that more.

...and David Purcey, who would seem to project as a solid MLB reliever at this point.

The problem for Patterson is that his W/K has never been good, and he's a 24 year old leftfielder in double A.  He's going to have to hit .300 with pop to make it, and that is not very likely. Joey Metropoulos can hit, but hasn't been able to stay healthy enough to advance up the organizational ladder at the pace that he needs to.

Ryan Klosterman is a player I'm pulling for. Sort of a "dirtbag" that every manager loves. Has played every infield position, and now getting some games in in LF this season for the Fisher Cats.  He was hitting well below .200 for most of the year, but then went on the DL and has come back hitting pretty well since then. Might be a tale of 2 seasons for him.

Don't forget 1/3 of Lyle OVerbay...

Anybody know if Bonus Baby Leance Soto is still in the Jays organization?

I would like to see Snider gets his walks and HR's up, but sure looks like he can hit. I wonder what's going through Russ Adams head. J-Mac, Roberts, and Clayton have passed him on the depth chart. I hope he saved his draft bonus money and first year salary. It's looking like Chris Woodward will get more AB's at the Major League level than Russ Adams. I wouldn't have said this 2 years ago.

Adams' low BABIP of .255 seems to result from pop-ups.  22 popups in 175 at-bats is a horrific total.  One day, we'll line up the pop-ups next to the strikeouts in the stat line.  Maybe I'll add line drive and pop-up columns to the charts. Hmm.

Wow.  Matt Bush is being converted to a pitcher.  I know he likely shouldn't have been the top pick in 2004 but he was considered a top ten talent.

Yes, Soto is still in the organization.
