15 days and 11 stadia later, I'm on my way home to sunny Ontario. What may await me in the world of baseball upon my return?

Well, Manny is now one swing of the bat away from immortality. Not that Manny needs 500 HRs to achieve that status.

Tonight, the Doctor goes up against the ace of Oakland's staff, which actually contains 5 aces at the moment - though I'm referring to the flame-throwing Canuckian, Rich Harden. Should be a low scoring affair, not that these two pitching staffs/line-ups would ever have it any other way.

If you happen to be near St. Lucie, Florida tonight, there's a fine high A pitching matchup.  Pedro Martinez faces David Price.  It is conceivable that those two will face off in October, and that doesn't happen too often.

Too bad that's the game tonight.. My schedule only allows me to go see the 12:30 game tomorrow.. Well, one game is better than no games :-)

Mick, if you're out there, I'm not sure if you're familiar with this particular hall-of-names roster, but if you aren't then you probably should be.

Unless, Mr. Doherty, you have a slightly modified handle over at Y! ... (Mickey D perhaps?)

It looks like David Price is not long for the FSL.

Greg Zaun is the latest BJ to go on the DL. Somethings wrong with his elbow, and now he's on the 15-day DL. I wonder who will get the call up?

Upon actually reading the article (always a good thing to do), I've answered my question. Thigpen is up.

Doc really earned that one. Rios is making some nice plays in center field.

About clutchiness, 2 runs on 6 hits isn't too bad.
