It was my home opener last night, and I brought my new camera.

Alas, I'm not very skilled with the darn thing. The habits of a lifetime have me wanting to hold it up to my eye and peer through something. This business of holding it away from the body and looking at a tiny monitor on the back of the device will take some getting used to.

A lot of very fuzzy images, boys and girls.

But this, surely, is what we want to see at the end of the night, no?

Let's see how long Romero can keep this up. He's been doing that through  all of spring training.

Ozzie Guillen had this to say: "He had a great breaking ball, The main thing was throwing strikes. He may be the best guy we've faced all year long."

Hi-def, lo-def, it's still rock and roll to me.

Let it be recorded.  After 6 innings, Romero had 12 Ks, 6 ground ball outs and a solitary walk.  That is about as good as it gets.  He tired after that.  It looks like managing his workload is going to be the major issue; this is something that Walton may be better at than Arnsberg but we will see.
