Eddie Michels, who writes for a number of outlets, reports that the injured Jessie Litsch has begun his rehab assignment.

Michels says that since suffering a right shoulder impingement, Jays right hander Jesse Litsch has been working  in the Bobby Mattick Training Center at the Englebert Complex in Dunedin.  He pitched a simulated game Monday, allowing a single hit and striking out three on 31 pitches, throwing 21 strikes.  Asked about starting his rehab assignment, Litsch said “I’m staying here for a little while.  Today, everything felt good and I was ready to get out there.”

Thanks for the pictures.  Strong legs are good for arm rehab, overhanging belly not so much.

Thank you, mamboon and Mr. Michels.  The photos are greatly appreciated.  It looks like Litsch trimmed his beard a little bit.
