New Hampshire 11  Bowie 3

Anthony Gose (2 for 5, 3R, HR, RBI, BB, 3Ks), lead off the Game by taking the second pitch of the game to the yard in a solo effort.  That quieted the Naval Academy folks a bit.  Travis d’Arnaud (3 for 5, 2B, 2 RBIs, 2Ks) turned the Navy folks a little more blue by singling in Adeiny who had singled in the first.

Despite the errors and the dubious distinction of having the highest error total on the Fisher Cats so far this year, Hechavarria made up for his fielding transgressions at the plate.  Adeiny knocked in his first runs after Gose had singled and stole second.  Hechavarria singled to center and took advantage of a three base error by the center fielder and scored behind Gose.  He later racked up another RBI with a triple to center scoring Jonathan Diaz (1 for 4, R, BB, K) who had singled and  Gose who singled as well.  Moises Sierra (2 for 5, R,RBI) and Craig Stansberry (1 for 4, 2B, RBI, BB, K) had run producing hits as well.

I am not really superstitious but why take chances. Therefore I follow the accepted rules for not Jinxing anything. So DO NOT talk about a NoNo. I am in on that one.

I don't want to get our heads twisted around BUT...are we going to jinx for example:-
1) The Jays by talking about them contending.
2) The Pirates by talking about them playing 500+ ball.
3) Last example Halladay winning the Cy Young again.

Here is my point: A few days ago I mentioned not jinxing our teams (plural), making the playoffs by talking about it. That sparked some responses about the Jays playoffs chances. But I meant our minor league teams.

There is some great stuff happening on the farm. I would like to enjoy the ride while it is happening by talking about it.
Some playoff series are best of 3 so who gets to start.
Vancouver was tied for the 1st half playoff spot but lost the tie breaker. That sucked.

This could be fun.
