The Blue Jays hit, not one, not two, but three grand slam home runs on Saturday. Willie MAcIver hit one as part of a ten run attack by Buffalo in their win. Aaron Parker and Victor Arias each hit one in New Hampshire's 14-0 win. Vancouver did not have a slam but they hit four home runs in their win.
Dunedin were rained out which gave Jojo Parker enough time to catch an early flight to Vancouver.
It wasn't all good news on the farm. Both Ricky Tiedemann and Johnny King had tough outings.

Buffalo played a back and forth contest that was only decided in the eighth inning. Charles McAdoo, who is on a tear, hit a two run home run in that inning to break an 8-8 tie. McAdoo's has now hit a home run in three straight games. It was also his fifth straight multi-hit game.
Earlier Willie MacIver hit a grand slam home run and Yohendrick Pinango hit a solo shot. Both came in the fifth inning. McIver had three hits, McAdoo two. Josh Kasevich had his usual two hits.
John Klein made his Jays debut and went 2.2 innings, two run allowed, two walks, two K's, three hits. Later Ricky Tiedemann came on. A lead off walk and two infield hits loaded the bases. A sac fly scored one run then Ricky Grooved a pitch for a two run double. Ricky then got the two outs to finish the inning.
New Hampshire racked up 16 hits to score 14 runs. They had two grand slam home runs, the first by Aaron Parker in the fifth inning and the second by Victor Arias in the ninth. Arias' home run came off Portland's second baseman who was drafted in to pitch. Tucker Toman hit his first AA home run, a solo shot. Parker ended the game with three hits, Arias and Toman two each. Nick Goodwin had two hits. Goodwin is the regular SS since Nimmala was traded. In August he is hitting .333 with an 891 OPS.
Danny Thompson Jr started and shutout the Sea Dogs on five hits over six innings. He struck out seven. That's almost a mirror image of his last start last Friday except in that case he gave up one hit, a solo home run. But that's a good run for the 24 year old.
Five pitches into their game Vancouver led two nothing. Ty Southisene tripled and Jake Casey homered. With Johnny King on the mound that should be good enough, right? But no. In the third inning King's third and fourth walks of the night were on base when the Everett hitter homered. First hit allowed by King, 3-2 Everett. Austin Smith homered to tie the game in the fourth and the C's went on to score two more runs. Another lead for King. But the C's had a bad bottom of the fourth. Two cheap singles, two passed balls, an error, a walk and then a double let Everett score four. King's night was done, seven runs in, but four earned, five walks and five K's in three plus innings. In the sixth inning Maddox Latta and Peyton Williams homered to restore the lead for the C's. and that was enough for the win.
Bryce Chance had three hits, Raimundo De Los Santos, Latta, Southisene and Casey had two each.
