Four wins and four losses on a Friday for the affiliates.

Pawtucket 7 Buffalo 6

Buffalo, NY
- The Herd were down 7-2 but a late rally came up short. George Kottaras had a pair of RBI singles, Ty Kelly and Caleb Gindl also singled home runs while Alex Hassan and Dalton Pompey lifted sacrifice flies.  Hassan had two hits, including a double while Pompey and Kelly both had a pair of hits and a walk.  Munenori Kawasaki, Andy Burns and Matt Hague also had hits. Chris Heisey drew a walk.

Andrew Albers (2-10, 5.20) was ambushed for three runs on seven hits, including a homer, while walking one, plunking one and whiffing two. Colt Hynes coughed up a solo homer among two hits in two frames. Donn Roach was roughed up for three runs (two earned) over four frames on three hits and a walk but struck out two and induced nine ground ball outs. Bobby Korecky K'd two in a shutout ninth.

Binghamton 1 New Hampshire 0 (11 Innings)

Binghamton, NY
- John Anderson (6-6) took the walk-off loss after a one-out walk, a single, an intentional pass and a sacrifice fly gave the Mets the victory. Anderson pitched 1-2/3 innings of two-hit ball with two walks and a strikeout. Taylor Cole scattered four hits and four walks over seven shutout frames with five strikeouts, splitting his 14 outs in play evenly on the ground and in the air for a Game Score of 70. Gregory Infante threw two no-hit innings, overcoming two walks with three whiffs.

Ryan Schimpf
had three of the five New Hampshire hits. Melky Mesa and Derrick Chung had the others. Roemon Fields, Dwight Smith Jr. and Jorge Flores all had walks with Flores stealing a base. K.C. Hobson was 0-for-5 while Emilio Guerrero and Shane Opitz were 0-for-4.

Dunedin 4 Lakeland 1

Dunedin, FL
- Anthony Alford tripled home the tie-breaking run in the fifth to score a Jorge Saez double and Alford would come on a Christian Lopes single. L.B. Dantzler also had an RBI base hit and Boomer Collins had a sac fly. Alford and Lopes had two hits apiece at the top of the order. Andy Fermin and Derrick Loveless also had base knocks. Matt Dean walked twice but Dickie Joe Thon went hitless in four at-bats.

Conor Fisk
(1-2, 5.95) made brisk work of the Tigers affiliate by limiting them to just one run on six hits and a walk while striking out four and getting five of his eight outs in play on the ground. Chris Smith stranded a runner for Fisk and struck out one in 1-2/3 shutout frames. Arik Sikula had a one-walk eighth and Wil Browning had a perfect ninth for his 21st save.

Lansing 7 West Michigan 5

Comstock Park, MI
- A three-run second inning for the Lugnuts and they never looked back to get their 69th win of the season. A Josh Almonte triple, an Alex Maldonado single and an Austin Davis double all came with two outs. Danny Jansen drove in three with a two-run double and a single and David Harris had a sac fly. Almonte had three hits and Jansen added a walk to get on base three times. Chris Carlson had two hits and Harris added a double. Richard Urena and Jason Leblebijian drew a base on balls. Michael De La Cruz was 0-for-4.

Starlyn Suriel
only pitched 3-1/3 innings and surrendered one run to the Tigers affiliate on three hits and a walk. Tim Mayza (3-1) was touched up for a run on a hit and two walks and allowed an inherited runner to score but struck out over 3-2/3 innings to get the win. Jose Fernandez was cuffed around for three runs on two hits and two walks with one strikeout in the eighth. Carlos Ramirez had a one-hit, one-strikeout ninth for his 9th save.

Vancouver 8 Spokane 7 (Game 1 - 10 Innings)

Spokane, WA
- Pinch-hitter Juan Kelly had the game-winning hit with a single to score a Ryan Metzler base hit. Sean Hurley tried to give Kelly another RBI but he was thrown out at the plate to end the frame. The C's scored runs in five of the first six innings on RBI singles by Metzler, Rolando Segovia and Justin Atkinson. A J.C. Cardenas single and a Ryan Hissey bases-loaded walk also contributed to the Vancouver offence. An error and a wild pitch led to the other two runs. Metzler and Segovia had three hits apiece with Segovia getting a triple. Metzler had two walks while Segovia had one. Atkinson and Connor Panas had two hits apiece while Cardenas walked twice while Hissey was hit by a pitch to get on base twice. Sean Hurley had a hit but Josh Reavis was 0-for-5 and was lifted for Kelly.

Tayler Saucedo
was slapped around for six runs on 10 hits and two walks over four innings but struck out five. Stuart Holmes got away with a hit and a walk over two shutout frames that included a pair of whiffs. Andrew Case blew the save after giving up a run on three hits but struck out three over two innings. Turner Lee (2-1) tossed two perfect frames to get the win.

Spokane 4 Vancouver 0 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

Spokane, WA
- A Juan Kelly base hit to start the fifth was the only thing that prevented a no-hitter by Spokane. Sean Hurley and Connor Panas drew a couple of two-out walks in the seventh. Justin Atkinson was hit by a pitch. Gunnar Heidt, Ryan Metzler and Rolando Segovia were a combined 0-for-9 while Gabriel Cenas and Kevin Garcia were an aggregate 0-for-4.

Francisco Rios (2-6, 4.03) gave up two runs on seven hits and a walk over five frames with three strikeouts. He threw a couple of wild pitches but racked up eight groundball outs of the nine in play. Michael Kraft coughed up a two-run homer among two hits and two walks in the sixth.

Danville 4 Bluefield 1

Danville, VA
- The Braves went yard twice among their 11 hits to produce four runs against Geno Encina (1-3, 4.04) over five innings. Encina struck out five and walked one. Zak Wasilewski had a hit and a walk on his line but struck out three over two shutout frames. Jackson Lowery whiffed one in the eighth.

The Jays opened up the scoring in the second inning when Nick Sinay took one for the team with the bases drunk. Rodrigo Orozco had a three-hit game and Christian Williams had two hits and a walk. D.J. McKnight and Jacob Anderson had the other hits with McKnight also getting a free pass. Mattingly Romanin had a walk but Yeltsin Gudino, Deiferson Barreto and Matt Morgan were a combined 0-for-12.

GCL Blue Jays 7 GCL Phillies 4

Clearwater, FL
- The Jays improved their record to 21 games over .500 by jumping out to a 4-0 lead after three innings. RBI singles by Robert Lucido, Edward Olivares and Owen Spiwak and a Lance Jones RBI groundout provided the early cushion. Reggie Pruitt also knocked one in with a hit while the other two runs were the result of errors. Jones, Spiwak, Lucido and Olivares all reached base three times.  Jones and Spiwak had two hits and a plunk, Lucido added a base on balls with his two hits and Olivares had a hit, a walk and a hit by pitch as well as two stolen bases. Bryan Lizardo doubled and Andrew Florides both walked. Miguel Almonte was 0-for-5. Kalik May and Javier Hernandez entered the game late and did not get in any at-bats.

Guadalupe Chavez (3-1, 2.37) got through five innings and gave up just one run on four hits and a hit by pitch while posting a  3-3 K/BB total. Denis Diaz and Osman Gutierrez each struck out a pair over their one-inning shutout stints. Griffin Glaude was knocked around for three runs (two earned) on three hits over two-thirds of an inning. Mike Estevez allowed an inherited run and walked a pair but struck out one over one inning. Nate Abel stranded a pair of runners and got the final out for his first save.
