Dunedin won big and Vancouver had a come-from-ahead loss. The Florida Complex Jays just simply lost. Buffalo and New Hampshire were rained out.

Spokane 8 Vancouver 6

The C's struggles continue as they fell to fourth place in the six-team High-A West with a loss to the third place Rockies affiliate. RBI singles by Spencer Horwitz, Ryan Gold, Will Robertson and Ronny Brito gave Vancouver a 4-0 lead after one. Philip Clarke connected for his first homer of the year to make it 5-1 in the fifth and had an RBI triple in the ninth. Tanner Morris had two hits and a walk and Sebastian Espino had a knock and two walks. The first eight C's hitters had at least one hit with the ninth reaching on a base on balls.

Nick Fraze gave up a solo homer among three hits and walked one in three innings, striking out four. Brandon Eisert gave up three runs in 2-1/3 innings. Will McAffer—after being sent down from New Hampshire—took the loss as he allowed two runs in two-thirds of an inning. Parker Caracci gave up two more runs in his one inning of work. Hagen Danner pitched a one-hit eighth and struck out three.


Dunedin 11 Bradenton 6

The D-Jays scored seven times in the first three innings and that proved to be enough against the Pirates affiliate. Harrison Ray hit a two-run homer and added an RBI double along with a stolen base. Hugo Cardona was on base four times with an RBI triple, a single, two walks and stole two bases. Dasan Brown was 2-for-6 with an RBI. Orelvis Martinez walked twice and had an RBI groundout. Steward Berroa singled, walked and stole two bases to give him 28 on the year.

All three Dunedin pitchers had a WHIP of 2.00. Naswell Paulino pitched three innings of one-run ball on three hits and three walks while striking out four. Andrew Bash got the win despite giving up four runs on 10 hits over five frames. Gabriel Ponce was popped for a home run among two hits.


FCL Phillies 6 FCL Blue Jays 1

The Phillies scored three times in the fourth and three more in the eighth to down the Jays. Adriel Sotolongo drove in the only run with an RBI single in the sixth. Sotolongo and Victor Mesia each had a hit and a walk. Gabriel Martinez had the lone extra-base hit with a double. Rikelbin De Castro was 0-for-4 with three strikeouts.

Lefty Kendry Rojas was perfect over three innings,striking out there and getting four outs on the ground. Bejardi Meza took the loss as he gave up three runs (two earned) in the fourth. Kelvin Perez pitched two shutout frames but Guillermo Villasmil gave up three runs (one earned) in 1-1/3 innings. Brayan Mejia got the last two outs.
