Vancouver was shut out and Dunedin came up a couple of runs short Wednesday. Buffalo's game against Syracuse was rained out and so was New Hampshire's game in Erie. The Bisons and Fisher Cats will play two today.

The Angels affiliate turned the tables on the C's with a shutout victory, scoring four times in the sixth to snap a 0-0 tie. Chad Dallas put up four shutout frames of two-hit ball, punching out four and getting seven outs on the ground. He had thrown just 49 pitches, 33 for strikes. Hunter Gregory got through the fifth but gave up four in the sixth. A leadoff single, a balk and an 11-pitch battle with the next hitter which resulted in a productive out on the right side of the infield set the stage for 2018 first round pick Jordyn Adams who singled home the first run. Ryan Boyer struck out two in a perfect seventh inning but left the game with an injury after warming up in the eighth. Nobody was warming in the C's bullpen at the time so Thomas Ruwe was forced to make an emergency appearance. He gave up a run but struck out the side in the eighth. Will McAffer gave up the other run but rung up two in the ninth.
Monty's Mounties were limited to just three hits. Leo Jimenez had a first inning single while Trevor Schwecke and Andrés Sosa had doubles. Steward Berroa drew a couple of walks but was picked off at first. Cameron Eden was 0-for-4 while P.K. Morris, Addison Barger, Zach Britton and Miguel Hiraldo were 0-for-3.

A three-run fifth by the Reds affiliate put them ahead to stay. The D-Jays were down 2-0 after one but fought back to tie it in the second on an RBI single by Francisco Fajardo and an RBI double by Estiven Machado. Dunedin then took a 3-2 lead lead on a Gabriel Martinez home run in the third, his fifth of the year. They were within a run after run-scoring doubles by Roque Salinas and Jose Ferrer. Fajardo, Estiven Machado and Rainer Nuñez put a two in the hit column. Chavez Young went 1-for-4 before giving way to Adrian Pinto who had a pinch-hit single. Damiano Palmegiani heard ball four once. The other eight D-Jays had at least one base hit.
Luis Quiñones surrendered two runs over four innings on one hit, three walks and a hit by pitch. He rung up seven batters in his 65-pitch outing, 36 of them were strikes. Wilgenis Alvarado was charged with the loss. He struck out a batter but walked four and plunked one leading to three runs. Julian Valdez stranded two of three runners for Alvarado but gave up an unearned run in 2-1/3 innings. Juan Nuñez stranded a Valdez runner but served up a gopher ball. All four of his outs came via the strikeout.
