Hernandez has an excellent change-up and a below average fastball. The question always is for pitchers, will his stuff work at the major league level. The first test for Hernandez is seeing teams for the second time. It seems like he still has work to do. Yosver Zulueta started and went two innings. He did concede a run in the second inning. Thomas Hatch was the best pitcher, three perfect innings.

Addison Barger reached base twice with a walk and a single. Four other hitters had two hits each. Cullen Large was one of those hitters and he had the only extra base hit, a double.
