NOTES

Buffalo used six pitchers. Yosver Zulueta was the worse one, three runs conceded in 1.2 innings. But Jay Jackson gave up a three run home run, two earned, in the tenth.

Addison Barger hit his second home run of the season. Rob Brantly also homered. Tanner Morris had two hits and two RBI. The Brantly home run and a Lukes double tied the game in the ninth. After Jackson gave up the home run in the tenth it look like a loss for the Bisons but Barger singled in a run and Luis De Los Santos hit a pinch hit grand slam to win the game.

Jimmy Robbins allowed three unearned runs in game one for NH. The runs were unearned due to an error by Orelvis, his 16th. Rainer Nunez hit his second AA home run.

Adam Kloffenstein was back on the mound Friday in game two after being hit by a line drive in his last start. Kloff struck out six in five innings while allowing a run on three hits and four walks. PK Morris hit his second home run. NH took a 2-1 lead to the ninth but Troy Watson wild pitched in the tying run in the top of the seventh. He also let in the go ahead run in the eighth. Portland returned the favour by wild pitching in the tying run in the bottom of the eighth. On to the ninth where Portland scored four thanks to a walk, an error by Leo Jimenez, a hit batter and a wild pitch. Not the best pitched inning.

The Vancouver game was tied at one after nine innings. Rafael Sanchez went five good innings. Devonte Brown homered to account for the C's run. Each team scored a run in the tenth and Spokane added another run in the eleventh. In the bottom of the eleventh Michael Turconi singled in the tying run then Cade Doughty singled in the winning run. Devonte Brown had three hits, Turconi and Doughty two each.

After I talked about how bad the FCL and DSL Jays were yesterday they both won today. Three of the FCL Jays better hitters homered. Sammy Hernandez hit his first home run in the first inning. Yhoangel Aponte hit a three run shot in the third and Jean Joseph hit his first in the sixth inning.

Emmanuel Bonnila has played 19 games, hit in all but 4. No hits the 1st 3 games. So basically a long hitting streak. In his last 10 games 4 1H games and 6 2H games. He could be a prospect that we are going to be very excited about.
