On a day where travel hindered my ability to post this one on time, Vancouver, Buffalo, and New Hampshire all win on Wednesday with Dunedin as the team on the outside looking in.

Vancouver Canadians
The Vancouver Canadians now have two players who have hit for the cycle this season as Michael Turconi did so in reverse order on Wednesday.
Turconi had a run-scoring triple in the 5th, a double in the seventh and a single in the eighth to complete the cycle.
Our Thursday updates always coincide with an Adam Macko start and he turned in another start of five scoreless innings, allowing three singles, three walks along with four strikeouts this time.
At the time of this writing, the Canadians and Hillsboro Hops were already engaged in another contest. This was a 1:05 p.m. start.
Buffalo Bisons
Triples seemed to be the hit of choice in Wednesday’s games as The Buffalo Bisons took advantage of a triple to start the top of the ninth inning in their game against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs to seal their 6-3 win.
As important as a game summary is, the Bison’s victory is significant because they now are first in the International League second-half standings.
The Bisons did not relinquish a lead at any point in this game and it was David Schneider’s sacrifice fly that drove in Nathan Lukes to take a 1-0 lead in the third
Andrew Bash heads to the mound for Buffalo in tonight’s game against Lehigh Valley.
New Hampshire Fisher Cats
Just a few days after an MLB Trade Deadline that saw Sam Robberse and Adam Klofenstein traded to the Cardinals organization, the Fisher Cats stumbled in their first game against Binghamton Rumble Ponies 2-0 on Tuesday.
Wednesday on the strength of Chad Dallas and his strong pitching since arriving Double-A, they won 3-1. Dallas pitched seven innings, allowing just one run on six hits and one walk while striking out five. On May 19th, Dallas threw seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in his Double-A debut against the Rumble Ponies.
New Hampshire plays Rumble Ponies tonight at 6:35 pm. RHP Luis Quinones (3-2, 4.53 ERA) will get the start for New Hampshire against RHP Tyler Stuart (1-0, 3.00 ERA).
Dunedin Blue Jays
It was all Fort Myers in this one thanks to the Mighty Mussels Jarret Whorff, who shouldn’t be confused with the Klingon who patrolled the Enterprise-D bridge and handled the Blue Jays easily in this one.
In six innings, he allowed two hits and no walks. He received instant run support as Fort Myers scored two in the top of the first and the third.
Dunedin could only manage single runs in the third and the bottom of the ninth but the damage had pretty much been done with the game at 5-1.
RHP Juan Mercedes (1-0, 11.12) gets the start for Fort Myers, opposed by LHP Kendry Rojas (3-4, 3.65) of the Blue Jays in today’s game.
