The Bisons split a doubleheader. Orelvis homered in game one. New Hampshire lost after Ricky Tiedemann couldn't get out of the first inning. Alan Roden hit his first AA home run. Vancouver had three hits in the first inning, scored a run, and were held hitless for the rest of the game. They won 1-0. Dunedin lost a slugfest.

The Bisons scored seven runs in game one. Orelvis hit his third home run in AAA, a three run shot in the fourth inning to give Buffalo the lead. They added four in the seventh. Ernie Clement drove in two with a single. Clement and Barger had two hits each, Spencer Horwitz added a double.


Wes Parsons started and went six innings, one run allowed. Nate Pearson handled the seventh.


Game two was a bullpen game. The Bisons recorded four singles, including ones by Horwitz, Clement and Barger.


Ricky Tiedemann started for New Hampshire, his first start in AA since May 4th. It didn't go well. He was pulled in the first inning having thrown 31 pitches, 18 strikes and 13 balls. He gave up four hits and a walk. Gabriel Ponce followed and he allowed two runs putting NH in a 5-0 hole.


The Fisher Cats had six hits, Alan Roden hit his first AA home run in the ninth. Damiano Palmegiani had the only other extra base hit, a double.


Four Vancouver pitchers combined on a shutout, a four hitter. Hunter Gregory started and went three innings. Anders Tolhurst also threw three innings to get the win. The C's had just three hits, all in the first inning. Garrett Spain, Alex De Jesus and Cade Doughty all singled. Then no hits the rest of the way.


Dunedin used five pitchers, all gave up runs. CJ Van Eyk started and was the best of the pitchers. 2.1 innings, one hit, five K's.


Jace Bohrofen and Manuel Beltre each hit a three run home run. Bofrofen also doubled. Braden Barry was 2-3 with a walk. Catcher Edward Duran was 3-4 with a double and two RBI.


The FCL Jays scored seven runs with two hits. Arjun Nimmala and Yhoangel Aponte had the two hits. Trent Palmer started and threw two good innings. Nolan Perry followed, coming off his best start of the year, and gave up ten runs.

Shoot. I did thjs thinking it was going to show a nice progression for Orelvis but to be honest i like those numbers from the 1st 10gms much better than the last 10. Despite the improved topline number, every component is worse over the last 10 other than an unsustainable babip.

We're also entering the MiLB dead zone period where numbers tend to drop off as players tire and look forward to the season ending.
