NOTES

Buffalo were outhit 8-5 but won. Four pitchers held Omaha scoreless through eight innings before Amir Garrett let in two runs in the ninth. CJ Van Eyk dodged six baserunners through 3.1 innings. Ryan Jennings struck out two, Easton Lucas and Mason Fluharty covered four innings.

It was catchers night for the offense. Christian Bethancourt homered for the first run and he also scored the third on a wild pitch. Ali Sanchez singled in the second run.

Orelvis hasn't played since July 10th. Could be a minor injury or it could be development time to try and get him back on track.

NH scored eleven runs with eleven hits. Jackson Hornung hit a three run home run and added a single. His AA batting average is still over .300. Devonte Brown homered, and walked twice. Charles McAdoo, Cade Doughty and Gabriel Martinez had two hits each.

After a hot start Juaron Watts-Brown is finding it tough in AA. A walk, single and hit batter loaded the bases in the first inning. A sac fly and a single made it three runs in. He gave up another in the second and was pulled after 2.2 innings with 66 pitches thrown.

Pitching was the name of the game in Vancouver. Jackson Wentworth went six innings with seven K's. He was charged with one run one three hits.

Sam Shaw made his high A debut in centre field. He singled and doubled and drove in the only Vancouver run. Cutter Coffey also singled and doubled and he also walked twice.

The D Jays had twelve runs and four home runs. Yhoangel Aponte hit two home runs, a single and dove in four runs. Alexis Hernandez and Kendry Chirinos also homered. Lizandro Rodriguez had a triple and a single.

On the mound it was a tandem start. Austin Cates went five with seven K's. Daniel Guerra struck out four. Each pitcher was charged with two runs on four hits with no walks.

For the second game in a row, the FCL Jays scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth for the walk off win. It was a walk that led to the walk off win but before that singles by Aldo Gaxiola, Enmanuel Bonilla and Raimundo De Los Santos kept the line moving.
