A home run from Jonatan Clase, an RBI triple by Charles McAdoo and an RBI double from Yohendrick Piñango powered the Bisons to victory. Clase drew a walk and McAdoo and Piñango had two-hit nights. Brandon Valenzuela singled home the first two Buffalo runs and heard ball four once. Josh Rivera had a two-hit game at the bottom of the order. CJ Van Eyk held the Royals affiliate to a run despite six hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out five and 50 of his 68 pitches found the strike zone. Adam Macko was the winning pitcher with 1⅓ innings of scoreless ball with two strikeouts to offset a hit and walked allowed. Yariel Rodriguez gave up a run but struck out four over 1⅔ innings. Chase Lee soaked up the final two frames and gave up two unearned runs in the ninth before getting the final out and recording the save. The runs were unearned due to a Josh Kasevich throwing error at short. Kasevich did have a single.
