Wednesday was a quiet night on the farm. Recently the affiliate offenses have been putting up some big numbers so they decided to have a quiet night yesterday. The four teams combined for 25 hits and there were no home runs and just two players had a multi hit game. That allowed some of the pitchers to step forward and take some of the spotlight. Buffalo and Vancouver won, New Hampshire and Dunedin lost.

Austin Voth started and the Bisons used six pitchers. Brendon Little struck out the side in his inning and that earned him the win.

NH had just six hits in their game. Jace Bohrofen had the only extra base hit, a triple.

Chris McElvain started and pitched well. He went five innings and struck out six. He was charged with two runs. The losing pitcher was Javen Coleman who gave up three hits in one inning.

Daniel Guerra had another good start for Vancouver. He shutout Tri-City over five innings with three K's.

Another great outing for Guerra. 5IP, 73 pitches. Don't know how much he can improve on that. I also think he is a power pitcher.
